One of the greatest joys for a Christian is to pray for one another. We live in a culture where bad things happen to people because of our sinful choices.  It is our own struggle of sin that often keeps us from fellowship with God and others.  So, in essence, our prayer for each other not only helps us to connect to God in the midst of our trouble, but it also protects us from the enemy, and helps us recognize the blessings that God gives us daily! 

1 Timothy 2:1-5 says, "I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."

As Christians, we are exhorted to pray for others.  Therefore, it is not only our responsibility,

but also a privilege to pray for you today.
