Hello Stonepoint family & friends,

We hope and pray that you are doing well! This weekend, Stonepoint will be hosting an Outdoor Service on our Wills Point Campus at 9am on the South lawn. This is contingent on weather, but Lord willing, we will be able to meet. 

For those of us that plan to gather, here are a few things to take note of:

1. We will practice wise distancing measures. The hardest things for many of us at Stonepoint will be to not hug necks and shake hands; or to invade each others hula-hoop space! (So, your assignment starting now is to practice the AIR HIGH FIVE!)

2. We will be in the big lawn area South of our building. We will allow people to stay in truck beds, bring lawn chairs, and blankets, but we will not provide chairs this weekend. Make a plan, think it out, and come on!!

3. For those of us with children, we have to realize that they don’t understand, nor do they practice social distancing well. So, please plan to spend time adequately talking to your children about this and help them understand the expectations. Consider bringing your truck and not getting out of the back bed of the vehicle. Consider bringing strollers for little ones, or wagons for toddlers. Make a goodie bag with snacks, bring coloring pages and crayons. Be creative and Be intentional about setting up the framework for you children to understand the basic ideas that they were created by God and can worship God even at an early age.

Lastly, Our Service is going to be brief; only about 50 minutes long. It will give us a chance to see each other, sing together, and be reminded of God’s purposes in our lives. 

If you are among the most vulnerable, have health challenges, or simply aren't ready to venture out, we encourage you to stay at home and join us online. The Weekend Gathering will be LIVE Streamed on Facebook or on our website at live.stonepointchurch.com.
