A Journey Group is a small group of people who commit to Biblical community together. This in community invest in each other relationally to help each other love God and love people more fully. Journey Groups gather weekly to pursue God's desire for our lives through the scriptures, prayer, accountability, authenticity, encouragement, and wisdom from God's Word.

At Stonepoint, Journey Groups are our best "front-line" system of care and support for people facing challenging times. Journey Groups are our primary means of adult disciple-making and spiritual formation. Robert Mulholland defines spiritual formation as the process of becoming conformed to the image of Christ for the sake of others. We don't want to "have groups" simply for the sake of helping people experience community. We hope our groups experience community for the sake of participating in God's kingdom work in the community!

We hope that you will find a Journey Group and begin the process of connecting to people, as we connect to God together. The writer of Hebrews implores us to "encourage one another and to let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds."  In essence, a Journey Group spurs you on to love people, to do good to people and to live a life bigger than your own!

At Stonepoint, you can get connected to a Journey Group through our Grouplink gathering. Grouplink is a time to meet new people, enjoy fellowship with others, and discover the value of Biblical community through small groups.

Our next Grouplink is on Sunday, February 9th from 2-4pm at our Wills Point Campus.
